About Francesca Luca

Francesca Luca is the voice behind The Francesca Luca Show, a radio show on WATD 95.9 FM featuring bold takes and candid interviews on everything from love and heartbreak to personal growth and real-life challenges. She also hosts Love Bites, a popular weekly segment on WATD where listeners call or text in for her signature no-nonsense relationship advice. Airing Fridays during the South Shore’s Morning News, the segment features Francesca’s quick wit, honesty, and deep insight into human connection. In addition to her radio shows, she also hosts events, including the upcoming South Shore’s Most Eligible Bachelor/Bachelorette Contest

On air since 2005, Francesca has built a strong presence across radio and podcast platforms. She previously hosted shows on WXBR, WMEX, WNBP, WBIX, and WBOQ before joining WATD. Her engaging style and sharp perspective earned her a loyal following and recognition as one of 50 radio hosts invited to the National Publicity Summit Panel in NYC.

Francesca began her career in the dating industry, launching two businesses at age 24: Friendship Caught Fire, a dating service, and Frame of Mind, a coaching service for singles. She ran both for eight years with offices across Massachusetts in Braintree, Hanover, East Sandwich, and Centerville. During this time, she also wrote a weekly dating column titled “Intimate Connections” for the South Shore’s News.

After selling her companies in 1999, Francesca transitioned into the wellness field. She became a certified yoga therapist and opened the Not Just Yoga Women’s Wellness Center in Milford, Connecticut. She taught at Yale University, the Women in Transition Facility operated by the Essex County Sheriff’s Department in Salisbury, MA, and Gillette in South Boston.

Francesca’s passion for personal growth and healing led her to further credentials in mediation and mental health. She trained as a mediator at the Community Dispute Settlement Center in Cambridge and, in 2015, earned certification in Internal Family Systems through the Center for Self Leadership. She now facilitates a women’s support group at the Cambridge Women’s Center.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Francesca once restored a dilapidated oceanfront Victorian home she discovered while on vacation. The project earned her an award from the Swampscott Historical Commission and remains a testament to her creativity, vision, and perseverance.

With decades of experience in relationships, wellness, and communication, Francesca brings compassion, candor, and confidence to every conversation she leads- whether it’s on air, in a classroom, or within a community. She doesn’t just give advice- she helps people see themselves more clearly and live more authentically.
